Live Painting Lemons

I love painting lemons. It's been a while since I had a moment to sit and paint. I'm so glad I was able to pop over onto Instagram live for this one. If you were watching that feed, here's the finished piece. I hope you enjoy x

The next photos are earlier stages of the painting. I always like to prop another painting I’ve done before on top of the one I’m currently working on. I can better figure out what I like and what I’d like to experiment on. This one was about texture and shadows.

P.S. - Running out of painter pallets has been a sad reality, but thankfully we have paper plates!
